AND NOW ON WITH THE SHOW...
I truly believe life is a gift to be treasured. I know it isn’t always filled with sunshine and singing birds, but without some trials and tribulations, how would we recognize the good times?
It’s like in my debut, RANCHER TO THE RESCUE, my hero and heroine have a lot of to go through to reach their happily-ever-after. But if they didn’t work and strive to grow, would they appreciate their HEA?
I know that life can be hard. Been there. Done that. But I’d like to think that I’ve learned from those tough times. I want to believe that I won’t repeat the same mistakes….well, at least not all of them. ;-)
But the tough times have made me look at the good times with a different, hopefully more in tune view. I realize that life won’t always be good and I do my best to appreciate it when things are going well instead of taking those moments for granted.
I hope that life is being good to you. And if you've hit a tough patch that it passes quickly and the sunshine will come out again.
As far as my current work-in-progress (bk #3), my characters are still digging holes for themselves, but they are starting to see things different, starting to grow. It won't be easy for them to reach their HEA. But isn't that what's makes the read so exciting?
