I did it…I did it. I did it. *jumping up and down* Hey, it
burns calories too. ;-)
Sorry. I had to get that out of my system. LOL.
I was really worried about losing weight for this post as last week was a challenge. It started off by going to a dinner theatre where our menu was arranged for us. That threw my WW points into a total frenzy.
Seriously it didn’t seem like the meal of pulled pork minus the bun, baked beans, pasta salad and coleslaw should be sooo bad, but I guess looks can be deceiving. When I logged it into WW, it ate through a good chunk of my Anytime Points. :-( Panic set in.
Let me tell you that having to come in here each week and report my progress is a real motivator to stick with the program whether it be food or exercise. So thank you for keeping on track.
So after the dinner theatre, I was really working hard to reclaim some points via exercise, but wouldn’t you know there’d be another unforeseen hurdle in my way. We tore our kitchen apart for Spring cleaning top-to-bottom. I had a healthy, calorie-friendly dinner planned but it wasn’t going to happen. With the oven coated in Easy Off, cooking dinner was out of the question. Another ding to the Anytime Points.
CONCLUSION: eating out is really a challenge for someone who is trying to lose weight.
But I kept up with my exercise and increased it. I ended up losing a hard fought for pound. And I’m proud of that pound. I know it isn’t huge, but it still has me going in the right direction and that’s the whole point right?
Now it’s your turn to share. How are you doing? Did you meet any challenges this week? Do anything different to step things up?
P.S. Next week I have a recipe to share. So check back.
