Recipe Roundup - This will warm you up on a cool evening!

3-Bean Chili – 8 servings

I really enjoy this recipe because it is fast, easy and it’s a family-pleaser. So on a cool day when you are in a rush, this is a great recipe. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. :-)


INGREDIENTS:

·         1 lb. lean ground beef

·         (1) clove garlic, minced

·         (1) medium onion, finely chopped

·          (1) 24 oz chunky salsa

·         (1) 15 oz canned black beans, drained

·         (1) 15 oz canned great northern beans, drained

·         (1) 15 oz canned kidney beans, drained

·         (1) 4.5 oz chopped green chiles

·         (1) taco seasoning packet

·         (2) 4 oz canned mushrooms, drained

·         (3) 8 oz tomato sauce

In a skillet, cook the ground meat. Drain any excess grease.

Combine all ingredients into a crock pot and let cook 4-6 hours on low

Top with your favorites. Mine consist of low-fat cheddar and fat-free sour cream.
