Hearts & Scribbles

Monday Mayhem: I did it!!! :-)

Happy Monday!!! For me it's a very happy Monday because last night I pressed 'send' on book #2 in my duet. *faints away* It has been the craziest last four months as I attempted to write two books and revise one. It was a lot of work, but I think it paid off. At least I hope so.

I was dreading proofreading Stephano and Jules's story this weekend. I was so afraid that I messed it up. There is a lot of tie over from the first book thus a lot of research on my part to make sure everything tied in. Yes, each book can stand on its own, but they to have an overarching theme. Anyway when I started to read, I found myself getting lost in the story. That was exciting. The downer was I had to force myself to pay attention to the words and not get swept away in Stephano and Jules's adventure. Now the first test will be my editor's feedback and then hopefully you'll get to read it soon. Fingers firmly crossed.

In the meantime, I've been getting feedback on THE RETURN OF THE REBEL and it has been really positive. *group hug* I was thrilled when I heard from a few people that I'm really growing as a writer. That really means a lot. I strive with every book to do my best at that point in time. I hope with each book to do a little better. :-)

This week marks the last week for THE RETURN OF THE REBEL blog tour. I have been very blessed with wonderful hosts and great comments. If you haven't joined in the tour, make sure you do. There's a $25 Amazon gift card up for grabs!!!

Because of my book deadline, I'm behind on everything including commenting on blogs but this week I'll be working on catching up on everything...I hope. It's my plan anyway.

Today's THE RETURN OF THE REBEL blog tour stops include:

If you missed the tour this past week, here were the stops:
