Monday Mayhem: Pressing 'send'

I just hit ‘send’ on book #5. Yay!  To be honest, it’s hard to believe it’s book five already. And book #3, SAFE IN THE TYCOON’S ARMS is out next month. Time is totally flying by. And it has been a great ride so far. Thanks so much for joining me on the ride of my life.

I really had a lot of fun writing book #5. Prince Alex and Reese’s story. Between you and me I’ve always wanted to write about a prince. *swoons* Every book is different and some are more challenging than others, but this book practically wrote itself. The characters were amazing to work with and I am going to miss them. But lucky for me if my editor likes my story, I’ll get to work with them some more during the revisions stage. I’m always excited to see my editor’s feedback and see my story through her eyes.

While I wait to hear back from her, I have an overflowing inbox to clean. I know some people are wondering why they haven’t heard back from me this past week while I was deep in my writing cave. If you are one of them, have no worries I’ll be getting back to you soon. ;-)

And just because I have a book out the door, doesn’t mean I have down time. I have an upcoming blog tour in March for SAFE IN THE TYCOON’S ARMS to prepare for. And I have a duet proposal to put together for my editor, which I’m very excited about. So as you can see while I’m waiting to hear back from my editor, I’ll have plenty to keep me distracted. But I’ll have more time to spend on Twitter and Facebook. So I hope to see you there. :-)

Have a wonderful week!
