Can you believe the summer is winding down already? In another week the school buses will be running and the mornings will grow crisp. And my summer will be officially over.
I didn’t have a summer break scheduled but I knew I needed some downtime to refill the creative well. So I worked hard to turn in my September 1st manuscript two months early. Summers are always busy around here so I knew that I’d need the downtime. And it was wonderful though it went far too fast. I was able to do some needlework and some cooking/baking.
Now that it’s time to get back to work, I’m a little ahead of the game as I already have some proposals in with my editor for a new contract with Harlequin. I’m also in the middle of a special project, which I’m very excited about. I can’t wait to share the details with you. So I have lots to look forward to this fall. :-)
My goal is to do as much writing outside on the porch as I can before the weather turns too cold. I have two books to complete before the end of the year. And I have the feeling the next few months are going to fly by.
Not to mention I have a holiday romance coming out October 1st, A PRINCESS BY CHRISTMAS. :-)
A royal kiss under the mistletoe...
Prince Alexandro Castanovo arrives in snowy New York intent on protecting his royal family from scandal. And when Reese Harding—down-to-earth and heart-stoppingly beautiful—finds room for him at her inn, it seems like the perfect twist of fate.
Not long ago Reese's world came crumbling down, shaking her foundations. But this enigmatic stranger intrigues her! She's learned to be wary of secrets…but when she discovers Alex's true identity, might there be enough magic in the air to make this regular American girl a princess by Christmas…?
