Monday Mayhem: Keep on, keeping on

Happy Monday! :-)

I’ve started a new book! It’s my next Christmas book for Harlequin. Would you believe that it’ll be my 12th Harlequin? My how times flies. And it has a little bit of snowy goodness and sunny fun times in it. The best of both worlds. ;-) I’m still at the beginning, but I’m very excited about where it’s going. And the snow storm this weekend really helped put me in the mood to write a holiday book. Hey, there has to be an upside to almost two feet of snow. Sometimes you just have to look harder than you do other times. ;-)

So while we were snowed in this weekend I did a little bit of everything and not a lot of anything. I wrote. Did admin. Packaged up THE GREEK’S READY-MADE WIFE (Brides for the Greek Tycoons, book 1) to newsletter winners. Did some needlework. Watched some of WHEN CALLS THE HEART, season 1. I just got it for Christmas. I baked Chai cookies. Yummo! I’ll share the recipe later this week. ;-) Cooked and did laundry. And I read a book. The weekend went by far too fast.

And now for a follow-up on Project Me:

  • This week I got back to using my elliptical. I missed it. That’s a good sign, right?
  • I started back on Weight Watchers. Did anyone notice the new layout? What do you think out it? Which do you like better, new or old layout?
  • And I did my nails. First, I had to trim them. When I pound on a keyboard all day I can't stand to have long nails. :-( They don’t look half bad if I do say so myself. The color, Purplexed, is outside of my norm, but sometimes different is good.

Next up will be Rosey Cheeks…

Will I be able to keep up with Project Me, I hope. But when a book deadline looms all bets are off. Deadlines take priority. So we will see. Figuring out balance is always a tough one for me.

And that is what’s new with me. I’m off to curl up on this cold, snowy night and read Mary Burton’s BE AFRAID. I hope it’s as good as the first book. *rubs hands anxiously*

Have a great week!!!
